Our team includes Michael A. Echols (Mike), CEO of Max Cybersecurity LLC. He founded the company following 15 years of service at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he served as a Cybersecurity Director.
During his time at DHS, Mr. Echols represented the department at the NATO Civil Communications Planning Committee (CCPC) in Brussels and chaired the Communications Sector’s International Network Security Information Exchange (NSIE) until 2014.
He also managed the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC), which comprises 30 chief executive officers representing IT, defense, and communications companies. The committee develops policy recommendations to advise the President on national security and telecommunications matters.
